In this workshop students will work on fundamental silks and rope skills like inverting and various root positions. Students will be introduced to dynamic ropes skills like beats. The class will start with a general warm up and then begin with working on climbs and transition to skills. No prerequisites needed.
In this workshop students will be introduced to the fundamentals of silks and rope. Starting with working on root positions that are used in many rope skills and then progressing to the foundations of dynamic rope. At the end students will be invited to show off what they have learned. No prerequisites needed.
Chrys is a non binary aerialist and contortionist. They enjoy exploring new pathways on rope and playing with the limitations of c shaping. Chrys's pieces center around themes like: queerness, the body, and resilience. They currently study at the National Centre for Circus Arts in London.
