The Gyrokinesis Method is usually practiced on a chair and a mat without equipment. Due to the limited availability of chairs the session at Acronia will be only mat work.
GYROKINESIS® classes can be adapted to fit anyone's ability. People from all walks of life take Gyrokinesis classes, fitness enthusiasts, senior citizens and people recovering from an injury or dealing with a disability. By the end of a Gyrokinesis session, one's entire system is awakened and brought into greater balance. Focus on the breath stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system resulting in a sense of calm, well-being and mental clarity.
After a severe acro yoga accident I discovered Gyrokinesis and Gyrotonic. It allowed me to keep moving and recover quickly. It made me love anotomy and understanding details of our bodies. I am happy to share and discover together with you :).
