Hey, I'm Sydney from New Jersey, USA (based in Koh Phangan, Thailand)! I have been a personal trainer for 8 years with a focus in joint care and neuromuscular stretching, and a yoga teacher for about 4 years. My main practices these days include acroyoga (love to flow and been moving into the world of standing), pilates, and flexibility training. Nothing keeps me entertained and happy as much as moving my body to feel good and see what I'm capable of. I’ll be sharing workshops about flexibility conditioning to take you to new limits and learn good stuff for your own practice! Can't wait to share with everyone :)

Mobility and Flexibility: Backbends

This isn't your usual yoga class or regular stretch session -- In this class, we’ll focus on building strength and mobility for deeper, more controlled backbends. Flexibility doesn’t come from just stretching, but from building strength at those deep end ranges. We’ll work on opening up your front body (hello hip flexors), shoulders, triceps, and spine, while strengthening flexibility muscles you didn't know had anything to do with a backbend. I’ll guide you through each move with care to unlock your backbend and help ya bend with confidence and control!
