Ciaras focus lies mainly on standing same size acrobatics and group acro.
Through her medical studies she can pull from a deep understanding of biomechanics, physiology and psychology creating a sustainable practice that has come to include "prehab".
She is a big advocate that size doesn't matter as much as technique and encourages her students to experiment in all roles. She values creating a safe space through empathy, encouragement and security for students to face their fears.
One day she will run away with the circus.

Wir vermitteln in dem Kurs die Grundlegenden Prinzipien, die man braucht um Acroyoga zu praktizieren und zu verstehen. Dabei werden wir Themen wir Bonestacking, Counterbalance und Spotting durch praktische Übungen erfahren und direkt in ersten Acroyoga Figuren anwenden.
Der Kurs ist für absoluter Anfänger*innen genau so geeignet, wie für Personen, die ihr Wissen vertiefen wollen.
This workshop is designed to empower FLINTA* that same size standing acro is also possible at higher levels.
I want to help you find the technique that makes that possible while keeping a safe space.
Come with an idea of tricks you would like to work on, with partner(s) or solo.
My specialities include h2h, f2h, rf2h, two high, three high, shoulder throws/catches... etc, but feel free to come with other suggestions.
We will work on a precise F2h technique that will enable you to work as same size duos.
It is also fine to work in different-sized-duos if you are just starting/prefer to.
Teaching possible in English or German
2high is an important trick for a lot of standing acro and having a clean technique is essential if you want to continue towards shoulder catches/three highs etc.
We will recap the australian vs european technique and learn different entries and exits.
