Whips are fun, and the Jäger is fun, why not combine them.
We will work on two moves in this workshop:
First: The clasical Jäger to Tarzan (optionaly to mortalito)
Second: A new creation, starting like a Jäger but countering the rotation and landing in a backwhip (optionaly Backwhip Pop)
The workshop includes: flyer- and base-specific warmup and technique exercises, tips and tricks to make whips more safe, timing exercises, step by step progressions to build trust for scary moves.
The Jäger is not a prereq. If you are able to do it you will probably achieve both tricks, if not you will still learn a lot in this Workshop. The other Prereqs are mandatory!!
CAUTION! Whips can be dangerous, if you don't put enough time in bulding your foundations, the calibration and trust in your partner. In our workshops we want to enable everybody to work on these. If we see people who endanger others by overestimating their level we are going to ask them to leave at the beginning of the workshop.
Hi I´m János
I train Partneracrobatiks for about 4 Years.
I have a broad movementbackround in a lot of different disciplines. The sport where I´ve invested most of my time and energy as a teenager is Parkour, which is also the Sport where I started my teaching practise. Later I also started giving regular Acroyoga classes, which I still do today. I love Teaching almost as much as training and playing myself.
I am always currios to find ways to teach compllicated and technical moves. For the last two years I have highly specialised in Whips and love to teach them on festivals. Whips and Whippops are so special to me because I feel like they are very technical without demanding a lot of stength, they always seem to me like a ridle you have to solve. Teaching them is extremly fascinating and interesting to me and I love to help people figure out the tiny changes that make such big differences when doing whippops.
I love Yoga, Singing Mantras, Skiing AND Partner-Acrobatics. My favorite Part in Acro are definitely Whips: Flying around, Turning, learning new Moves and linking stuff. And I also love basing and would which to do it more - it makes you so strong! And I love that feeling of holding someone.
As a job I do something completely different, which is: Awareness for IT Security. I live in Kempten, in the beautiful Allgäu, Germany.
