In this workshop, we open the space also for a collective discussion on shared responsibility to support consent culture in our communities and facilitate accountability and repair with a restorative approach.
I will share with the group some tools, frameworks and procedures that I have had a chance to use and found transformative & impactful, during my work supporting consent incident resolution & mediation in different festival, burn events and communities.
These are rooted in restorative justice, fostering empathy, repair and inclusion as much as possible.
We will take some time in collective intelligence to use these tools and try and "resolve" examples of consent incident cases, exploring how they can help us to build better, clearer and more structured processes to support all parties and the collective.
I hope we can together develop support and ressources dedicated to support the acro community, which foster more consent & care culture.
Depending on the time & interest, I would love to open a discussion power dynamics at play in acro communities and how to hold safer spaces being mindful of how they affect them.
If you are interested about consent in your community (acro or not), please join, and if you have frameworks and processes to share with the group I'd be interested you share them with the group as well.
